It appeared the Blackman Blaze could do no wrong in the first two quarters against Shades Valley on Friday night.
However, in final two quarters, it appeared they could do no right as Blackman ultimately fell to Shades Valley 39-29 in what could be described as a tale of two halves.
Blackman dominated the first half, taking a 21-7 lead into halftime. The Blaze ran the ball all over Shades Valley to the tune of 109 yards, with Cordell Braxton accounting for 81 of those yards. The running game was rolling and so was the Blackman offense.
