In boys action, the Blaze shot a whopping 77 percent from two-point range and 88 percent from the foul line as they mauled the Patriots 60-40 to remain undefeated in the district with three games to go.
"We're real proud," Blackman coach Barry Wortman said. "This puts us one win away from our fifth regular season title in six years, and that's important to us. So we're real pleased with that. And in Tennessee, winner of the district also advances to regionals.
