Blackman junior bowler Sarah Sanes might have started slowly, but she finished with a fury in the recent USBC Junior Gold tournament in Cleveland, Ohio.
"My first two I rolled really, really bad in qualifying," she said. "I was really far behind for the cut, but the next two days I finished really good."
Good enough for a second-place finish in the u15 division for the second straight year. She competed against 327 bowlers.
"It was really cool because there are some good bowlers there," Sane said. "It's good to know the hard work really helped.
