Big fourth inning pushes MT over Marshall

HUNTINGTON, W. Va. – Middle Tennessee (9-17, 4-4) used a six-run fourth inning to give themselves a comfortable lead on their way to a 10-5 victory over Marshall (16-10, 5-3) on Saturday afternoon.

The Blue Raiders scored first for the fifth straight game, grabbing two runs when Brycen Thomas doubled home Nick Carnevale and Myles Christian. But the big inning for MT came in the fourth.

JT Mabry got the inning going when he smashed a double to left field to drive in Darrell Freeman Jr.
