Bibee resigns post

MURFREESBORO – Longtime Middle Tennessee assistant football coach, David Bibee, has resigned his post effective immediately as announced by Head Coach Rick Stockstill on Tuesday.

Bibee, who was a part of five bowl teams at MT, was set to begin his 10th season at Middle Tennessee where he coached safeties all nine years. This past February, Bibee made a switch to coach the Blue Raider linebackers.

• Coached NFL talent Kevin Byard, who became the MT all-time interceptions leader with 19
• Tutored Jeremy Kellem who ranks in top 10 at MT in tackles and was an academic all-american
• Coached two players who earned four first team all-conference honors and two second team awards

"I have been with David a long time and he is a great friend," said Stockstill.
