LAFAYETTE – Middle Tennessee is in ninth place following 36 holes of the 31 Annual Louisiana Classics. The Blue Raiders had rounds of 294-290 on the par 72, 6,898-yard Oakbourne Country Club course Monday.
No. 1 ranked Illinois is the overall leader at 18-under par, while No. 33 Texas A&M is one shot back in second place.
Freshman led the way on day one with a 1-under par total of 143. Beckner opened with a 2-under par 70 in round one before registering a 73 in round two.
