SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS – Aaron Aucker extended his hitting streak to 17 games in Middle Tennessee's 3-2 loss to UTSA Friday night at Roadrunner Field.
The Blue Raiders (20-25, 7-15) could not generate enough offense to overpower the Roadrunners (23-21, 11-11).
"We didn't swing the bat very well tonight," said Head Coach Jim McGuire. "Maybe not playing a mid-week game had something to do with it, but we have to be sharper than we were tonight."
MT struck first in the third inning when senior catcher Chaz Vesser ripped a one-out double down the right field line.
