MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Athlon Sports recently released its 2023 Preseason C-USA All-Conference Team and 13 Blue Raiders were recognized.
The Blue Raiders had six first team selections, a second team pick, three on the third team and three on the fourth team.
Defensive players Zaylin Wood (DE), Marley Cook (DT), Devyn Curtis (LB), Teldrick Ross (CB), and Tra Fluellen (S) were all placed on the first team defense, while place-kicker Zeke Rankin was the first team specialist. In 2022, Ross was a second team all-league pick while Curtis was a freshman all-American.
