Murfreesboro, Tenn.- The Annual John Stanford Grand Slam Fish Fry is slotted for Monday, October 7, at The Grove at Williamson Place at 6 p.m.
This will mark the seventh year that the fish fry will be named in honor of former Middle Tennessee athletic director and baseball head coach John Stanford. As the skipper of the Blue Raiders, Stanford notched a record of 402-272-4 and collected four OVC Tournament Championships in 14 seasons at the helm.
"John Stanford was a tremendous coach and administrator who built this program from the ground up through events like the Fish Fry," says Head Coach Jim Toman.
