MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee junior guard Anastasia Hayes has been named Conference USA after leading the Lady Raiders to a pair of wins against UAB last week.
Hayes averaged 38.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 5.0 assists and four steals in the two-game sweep. She was 8-of-12 from 3-point range for a 67 percent shooting clip. It marks the fifth C-USA Player of the Week honor this season.
Hayes was also named the College Sports Madness High-Major National Player of the Week for the third time Monday.
The dynamic guard has one of the best performances in C-USA and program history with 42 points in the Lady Raiders' 81-78 overtime win at UAB Thursday.
