CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Middle Tennessee women's tennis team took on #43 Charlotte, Saturday morning, falling to the 49ers, 6-1.
The Raiders drop to 7-9 on the season and 1-4 in Conference USA while Charlotte improves to 16-5 and 2-0 in conference play.
In doubles, Love-Star Alexis and Zani Barnard won their match, 6-3, for their sixth straight victory together, but that was all for the Raiders as Charlotte took the doubles point.
The Blue Raiders struggled to get anything going in singles as they dropped five matches. Lidia Burrows was the lone winner for the Raiders as her opponent retired before the second set.
