DALLAS – Graduate Student Abigail Kwarteng and freshman Alaba Akintola are taking home their fourth-combined Conference USA Athlete of the Week honors of the outdoor season for their performances during the War Eagle Invitational hosted by Auburn, April 15th to April 16th.
Kwarteng competed in the high jump taking first place with a personal-best height of 1.92 meters. Her personal best is a Ghana national record (breaking her previous national record of 1.87m) and a program record beating the previous mark outdoor-program record of 1.
