DALLAS – A pair of Middle Tennessee student-athletes earned Conference USA Scholar Athlete Awards for their respective sports, the league office announced Thursday.
Jalynn Gregory received the women's basketball honor, while Karim Al-Amin was named the men's tennis Scholar Athlete Award recipient.
Al-Amin, a native of Waltrop, Germany, also earned the Scholar Athlete Award for the first time. He holds a 3.932 GPA while pursuing a degree in psychology with minors in neuroscience and entrepreneurship. He was also named to the 2025 CUSA Commissioner's Honor Roll and is an Academic Medal recipient.
