MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The 2021 Conference USA Outdoor Track and Field All-Conference Teams were announced by the league Thursday afternoon, and 12 Blue Raiders earned honors.
The teams were determined at the conference championships in Murfreesboro, Tenn., with individuals placing first in their events named First Team All-Conference, those placing second in their events named Second Team All-Conference, and those placing third named Third Team All-Conference.
Jacob Choge led the conference men with first-team honors after placing first in both the 1500m and 5000m. Kigen Chemadi, Brian Rono, and Erhire Omamuyovwi also earned first-team nods, Chemadi for the 3000m steeplechase, Rono for the 800m Omamuyovwi for the high jump.
