Zips Continue To Lead Following Third Day Of Competition

BOWLING GREEN, OHIO -- University of Akron leads the 2016 Mid-American Conference Women's Swimming and Diving Championships after the third day of competition. The Zips have earned a total of 494.50 points, followed by Eastern Michigan with 370.50 points and Bowling Green with 328 points.

Bowling Green's Franziska Wohlert started off the night by taking home the 400 IM title in a time of 4:18.04, while Akron's Erin Seiler followed by winning the 100 Fly Championship in a time of 52.97.

The middle of the evening belonged to Eastern Michigan as Becca Detro won the 200 Free crown in a time of 1:47.
