MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (October 5, 2017) – The West Virginia University men’s and women’s soccer teams have once again earned the Team Academic Award by the United Soccer Coaches, in recognition of outstanding performance in the classroom during the 2016-17 academic year.
The women were honored for the 16th consecutive year, while the men were recognized for the 10th year in a row.
WVU was one of 195 schools to have both its men’s and women’s programs recognized for earning a 3.0 GPA or higher last year.
