The Ball State women's basketball team has earned an at-large berth to compete in the 2017 Postseason Women's National Invitation Tournament that consists of 64 teams. The Cardinals will play at Indiana (20-10) Thursday the time is yet to be determined.

Central Michigan (23-8)
The Central Michigan women's basketball team will play at Wright State in Fairborn, Ohio, on Thursday in an opening-round game of the Women's NIT. The Chippewas (23-8) automatically qualified for the tournament by winning the regular-season Mid-American Conference championship, their first since 1985.
