KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Western Michigan wide receiver Corey Davis was named an All-American by USA Today, Sports Illustrated and the Walter Camp Football Foundation today. The awards come a day after he was named a Sporting News All-American.
Davis posted his third-straight 1,400-yard season this year, finishing the regular season with a career-high 91 catches for 1,427 yards and 18 touchdowns. His 18 TDs leads the FBS. Earlier this year he became the all-time leading FBS receiver in history. He now has 5,212 yards in four seasons and is the first receiver in FBS history with four seasons of 900+ yards.
