Western Michigan quarterback Reece Goddard has left the program, according to WWMT’s Andy Pepper.
As a true freshman, Goddard came in relief for the injured Jon Wassink, who suffered a season-ending broken collarbone injury in a 20-17 overtime win over Eastern Michigan on October 21.
Goddard provided the closing duties of the aforementioned game and started each of the remaining four contests in the Broncos’ 2017 campaign — faring 1-3 as a starter with a 48-20 victory over Kent State.
