DETROIT – The Western Michigan Broncos defeated the Miami RedHawks by a final score of 23-13 in the 2025 MAC Football Championship Game today inside Ford Field in front of 19,114. This marks Western Michigan’s first MAC Football title since 2016.
Jalen Buckley was named Offensive Player of the Game after posting 193 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries. Buckley scored the game’s first touchdown in the opening minutes of the contest, tallying a 67-yard touchdown to put the Broncos ahead 7-0.
Buckley’s second score went for 64 yards and increased the Broncos’ lead to 23-6 in the third quarter.
