WESTERN MICHIGAN 2020 MAC GYMNASTICS REGULAR SEASON CHAMPIONS CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced today that the Western Michigan University women’s gymnastics team has been named the 2020 MAC Regular Season Champions. Western Michigan posted a 5-1 MAC regular season record, and a 6-2 overall record. The Broncos were led by seven-year head coach Penny Jernigan and claimed the league’s regular season title for only the second time in program history, and its first since the 2006 season. Ball State ranked second in the Conference with a 4-1 league regular season mark, including an 11-4 overall record.
