MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – A dominating second half helped the West Virginia University men's soccer team maintain its place atop the Mid-American Conference with a 5-1 victory over No. 20 SIU Edwardsville on Saturday night at Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium.
In a matchup between the top two teams in the conference standings, the Mountaineers (10-5-0, 3-0-0 MAC) scored four second-half goals to down the Cougars (9-2-4, 1-1-1 MAC).
