The Ball State Cardinals let a close one get away against Illinois last week. This week, they took on a UAB Blazers team that was dormant for a few seasons. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but after winning in their first game, I was confident they would be a solid test for the Cardinals.
Ball State jumped out to an early 14-3 on a Malik Dunner run and Riley Neal to Danny Pinter pass. The UAB offense stormed right back with A.J Erdely capping an 87 yard drive with a 41 yard TD run.
