Gus Ragland completed 13 of 21 passes for 218 yards and four touchdowns, and carried the ball 13 times for 60 yards, as Miami ran away from Central Michigan in a decisive 37-17 victory, Miami’s fourth-straight win.
Ragland was able to find holes in the Chippewa defense, and exploited them for big gains the entire game. Rokeem Williams lead the receivers, as he hauled in three passes for 61 yards. Sam Shisso was also able to catch three passes, going for 56 yards and one of Ragland's four touchdowns.
Alonzo Smith wasn't able to get much going throughout the game, as he carried the ball eight times for just 33 yards, but Kenny Young was able contribute with a game-changing 72-yard touchdown run right through the middle of the Chippewa defense on the first play of the second half.
