If someone had told you this five years ago, you would have called that person delusional: Akron football will win a bowl game in 2015.
Well, it happened. After years and years of losing teams, the University of Akron's football program had a winning season and a bowl win. Only one of those things had happened since 2005 and the other one never had before. From losing to Gardner-Webb in overtime and trailing at Western Michigan by 60 points in a game to Famous Idaho Potato bowl champs, it's been a wild ride that hopefully can continue to get better.
