The Mid-American Conference Track & Field programs are being honored for efforts in the classroom by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). A total of 61 student-athletes were tabbed to receive All-Academic honors.
To be considered for individual All-Academic status, students must compete in any round of NCAA DI Championships (prelims included) and maintain a 3.25 GPA. At the Division I level, 910 women and 570 men are accepting the honor.
On the team side, USTFCCCA named 220 women’s teams and 122 men’s teams All-Academic. Teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.
