Two MAC Teams Play Host Today In the Second Round of The NCAA Soccer Tournament

The 3rd ranked Akron Zips play host to 9th ranked Seattle Redhawks, a team they beat last season. The two teams will begin play at 1 p.m. EST at Cub Cadet Field in First Energy Stadium. The match will be broadcast on ESPN3 and available for stream via the WatchESPN app.

It should be an exciting match as Seattle leads the nation in shots and shots on goal.

The Zips are an experienced team, with senior Stuart Holthusen the current NCAA leader in tournament games played at 7.

Meanwhile in Kalamazoo, the 6th ranked Western Michigan Broncos will play host to the University at Albany Great Danes.
