TOLEDO, Ohio - Toledo's Chris Meyers has been named a Third Team All-American by ABCA/Rawlings, the second All-America distinction bestowed upon him since the season ended last month.
The 2021 MAC Player of the Year, Meyers has received much national acclaim for his dominant season. The Miamisburg, Ohio native was named an All-American by Collegiate Baseball on June 3, a day after becoming Toledo's first-ever conference player of the year. Meyers earned first team all-region honors from ABCA/Rawlings last week, putting him in contention for a spot on the organization's All-America team. With his selection, he becomes the first Rocket to earn All-America status from multiple outlets since Mitch Maier in 2003.
