The Maxwell Club announced their watch list for the award they give each season to the best all-around football player. Toledo quarterback Logan Woodside is one of two players from a Mid-American Conference school to make the list this season. The award has been given annually since 1937, with Clint Frank of Yale being the first one to receive the award. In 12 of the last 14 years the award has been given to a quarterback, however no one from the MAC has ever won the award.

Logan Woodside burst onto the national scene last year after having a fantastic season where he led the country in touchdown passes with 45.
