Toledo Quarterback Logan Woodside Added to Manning Award Watch List
Toledo, OH – Junior quarterback Logan Woodside was added to the official watch list today for the 2016 Manning Award. The Manning Award was created by the Allstate Sugar Bowl in honor of the college football accomplishments of Archie, Peyton and Eli Manning. It is the only quarterback award that includes the candidates’ bowl performances in its balloting.
Through five games this season, Woodside has led the Rockets to a 4-1 record and put up some impressive numbers. He has completed 70.2 percent of his passes for 1,691 yards, 20 TDs and just three interceptions.
