Toledo Leads After Round 1 of Women's Golf Championship

NOBLESVILLE, Indiana - After one day of competition at the 2016 Women's Golf Championship, the Toledo Rockets hold a four stroke lead over the field of ten.

Senior Manisa Isavas led the Rockets by carding a 69 (-3), to finish round one tied for first place. UT was able to turn in a team score of 289 with the help of Pimchanok Kawil and Natcha Daengpiem shooting one-over par, and Sathika Ruenreong following turning in a 74 (+2).

Akron freshman Danielle Nicholson, shares the top of the leaderboard with Isavas, by finishing round one three-under par.
