TOLEDO, OH – Senior center Nathan Boothe tallied 25 points and nine rebounds and sophomore guard Stuckey Mosley tied his career best with 19 points to lead Toledo to a convincing 78-64 win over Akron Friday night in Savage Arena.
The victory, which was the Rockets' four straight over the Zips, improved UT's record to 11-6 overall and 2-2 in Mid-American Conference play
Junior guard Jonathan Williams also scored in double figures, finishing with 15 points and tying Mosley for the team lead with four assists.
Toledo shot 53.8 percent from the field, including a sizzling 59.
