Toledo Rockets head coach Jason Candle has confirmed the suspensions of defensive tackle Marquise Moore along with linebackers Jaylen Coleman and Anthony Davis due to “violations of athletic department policies.”
Both Coleman and Moore were projected starters on the Rockets defense. They will miss Toledo's season opener against Arkansas State, and their home opener against Maine. They are set to return for a home contest against Fresno State.
Last season, Coleman had his season cut short by a broken leg. During the six games Coleman competed in, he lead the Rockets in tackles. Sophomore Richard Olekanma will be looked upon as the main linebacker during Coleman’s absence.
