The RPI currently has Central Michigan ranked 28. Buffalo is ranked 21 and the two teams will battle on Valentine’s Day. However the most interesting ranking of the day comes in at number 41. Ball State has lost 4 league games and is still in a position to move up the rankings into bubble range. More importantly from a league standpoint, they give street cred to the two teams that are looking more and more like an at-large bid by the day.
