If I told you that all five of Eastern Michigan’s starters scored in the double digits, you would assume that the Eagles would have come out on top. Well, you would have assumed wrong. The Falcons made their trek up US-23 to Ypsilanti and downed the Eagles by a score of 80-67.
The Eagles started out strong and found themselves leading 8 to 4 a little more than three minutes into the game. Within four minutes, they would find themselves trailing the Falcons 12 to 10. After the point, the Eagles would never regain the lead. At halftime, they found themselves trailing Bowling Green by 9 points.
