Strom to Lead Kent State Women's Golf

KENT, Ohio – Kent State University announced the hiring of Lisa Strom as its head women's golf coach on Monday, July 1. Strom becomes just the third head coach in the 21-year history of the women's golf program after spending three years as the head coach at Texas State.

"We are excited to welcome Lisa to Kent State," said Director of Athletics Joel Nielsen. "She brings experience as a head coach, a top assistant at Ohio State and was a championship-level player both in college and on the LPGA tour."

Strom led Texas State to a historic 2018-19 season, which included several program records for best scoring average (296.
