Starting in 2020, There Will Be a Myrtle Beach Bowl and the MAC is Included

The Mid-American Conference announced today via a press release the creation of the Myrtle Beach Bowl. This game will be played over a 6 year period from 2020 to 2025 and will feature teams from the MAC, Conference USA, and the Sunbelt. Each conference will send 4 teams in that time frame.

This is wonderful news for a variety of reasons. One, more TV money, which the MAC needs. Two, it reduces the possibility of a MAC team being left home even with the required 6 wins. While some people may not like rewarded mediocrity, I am all for it, at least with regards to college football.
