MUNCIE, Ind.– The Ball State field hockey team couldn't fight off 16th ranked Boston University Saturday afternoon in its first contest of the Miami Invitational. The Cardinals fell to the Terriers 2-1.
Redshirt freshman Sierra Jefferson was the lone Cardinal to score in the contest. Jefferson scored in the seventh minute of the game on a rebound off a corner.
