Last weekend got billed as “OMG BEST WEEKEND EVER” and for the most part it was a Saturday filled with good action, some upsets, and several surprises as the playoff picture gets a bit more clear. This weekend? Sort of the opposite of that. Short on marquee matchups and with this being the weekend that many blue chip programs schedule a late-season cupcake a la Alabama and Mercer, there may not be appointment viewing to be had but need I remind you that this football season is winding down?
