As is the case with most Saturday’s in October and November, eyes looking for the Mid-American Conference have a few days to wait. The mid-week games are in full swing, and though the debate rages on about the worthiness of Tuesday or Wednesday night MACtion, what really isn’t a debate is that given the slate on most November Saturdays, the MAC would get no attention at all.
Such is the case this weekend, with some titanic matchups that will have long lasting and far-reaching impact on this season. If previous years have been any kind of roadmap, the teams at the top of the rankings for the College Football Playoff initially usually don’t remain there when it’s time to make some travel arrangements for early January.
