IRVING, Texas (Nov. 1, 2016) - The National Football Foundation (NFF) & College Hall of Fame announced today the finalists for the 2016 William V. Campbell Trophy, presented by Fidelity Investments® and prominently displayed at its official home inside the New York Athletic Club. The trophy recognizes an individual as the absolute best football scholar-athlete in the nation.
Of the 12 finalists, two are from the Mid-American Conference as Central Michigan quarterback Cooper Rush and Western Michigan quarterback Zach Terrell were named to this prestigious list.
Already pursuing his MBA, Cooper Rush has made a name for himself in the Central Michigan record books equal to his outstanding classroom performance.
