TOLEDO, OH - University of Toledo senior Sathika Ruenreong was one of six individuals selected to participate in an NCAA regional hosted by the University of Alabama, the NCAA announced on Monday evening.
The regional will feature 18 teams and six individuals and will take place on Thursday-Saturday, May 5-7 at the Shoal Creek Course in Shoal Creek, AL.
Ruenreong is the first Rocket to compete in an NCAA event in the program's 21-year history.
A four-time first-team All-MAC selection, Ruenreong will enter the regional after setting school records for stroke average in a season (73.
