The Western Michigan Broncos are coming off a blow-out victory over rival Central Michigan. They have their first ever Top 25 ranking in program history. Oh, and it’s Homecoming against the six-time defending MAC West Champion NIU Huskies.
So how many fans are expected to fill Waldo Stadium on Saturday?
As of 10 am Thursday morning, the Bronco ticket office says that 15,500 tickets have been sold, with student tickets not counted (they’re free to get in and occupy the West/Home sideline). They also noted that ticket sales have been steady throughout the week, with roughly 1,000-1,100 tickets being sold per day so far.
