CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Mid-American Conference field hockey coaches have selected the Miami RedHawks to repeat as both the 2019 regular season champion, and the 2019 MAC tournament champions.
Miami University, who received five first place votes to win the regular season, will look to continue to build on back-to-back MAC Championships in 2017 and 2018. Miami posted a 16-7 overall record last year, while going a perfect 6-0 in conference for the second straight season.
Kent State was chosen to finish second in the poll and received a total of 38 points from the coaches.
