The Eagles went down to Kentucky, they were looking for a game to steal. They were in a bind because they were behind. At the end of the first quarter, they found themselves down by 14 points and they never managed to catch up. The Eagles fall to 1 and 1 on the season.
The game started like many of these games do. Both teams exchanged punts however Kentucky managed to score on their second drive. Eastern Michigan only managed 17 yards after that drive and were forced to punt again. With a scoring drive capped by a 32 yard run by Kavosiey Smoke, Kentucky never looked back.
