Play Suspended Mid-Round for Kent State

SUGAR GROVE, Ill. – The No. 11 Kent State University men's golf team braved brutal afternoon conditions to get through most of its first rounds, sitting at 1-over par before the first round was suspended.

Kent State was unlucky in drawing a tee time in the afternoon wave, as the conditions at Rich Harvest Farms took a turn for the worst. The Golden Flashes, along with the rest of the afternoon teams, dealt with high winds and two weather delays. Parts of the round were played through heavy down pour, resulting in a tough back nine after starting on 10.
