Ohio's Nathan Rourke & Miami's Gus Ragland Named To 2018 Manning Award Watch List
NEW ORLEANS – The Manning Award, sponsored by the Allstate Sugar Bowl, announced its preseason Watch List on Thursday, August 16. The list includes 30 of the top quarterbacks in the nation heading into the 2018 season. The winner will again be selected by a voting panel, which includes national media and each of the Mannings, after the bowls. Representing the MAC are Ohio junior quarterback Nathan Rourke and Miami junior quarterback Gus Ragland.
Rourke, a native of Oakville, Ontario, Canada, had a breakout sopohomore season as he led the Bobcats to a 9-4 overall record, including a 41-6 win over UAB in the Bahamas Bowl.
