CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced Wednesday, the leagues 12 volleyball head coaches have selected the Ohio Bobcats to claim the regular season title, as well as win the 2018 MAC Volleyball Championship crown.
Last season the Bobcats finished with an overall record of 17-15 and finished 3rd in the East Division with a MAC record of 10-6. Ohio clinched the #4 seed in the 2017 MAC Tournament before falling to the eventual champion Miami RedHawks in three sets. Ohio collected eight votes from the coaches to win the MAC regular season, with Bowling Green also receiving three votes.
