ATHENS, Ohio – The Ohio women's basketball team (2-0) defeated a ranked opponent for the first time in program history after taking down No. 22 Notre Dame (0-1), 86-85, at the Convocation Center on Friday afternoon.
"This team never seems to be overwhelmed by the moment," head coach Bob Boldon said. "Today was no exception. We don't get seven or eight chances to beat a top-25 team, we get one or two.
