Ohio Bobcats Offense Plays Well in Win Over UMass Minutemen

In a rare twist, the Ohio Bobcats offense pulled out the win after a sloppy game by the defense.

The UMass Minutemen jumped out to a 13-7 lead after scoring on their first three drives.

The Bobcats were able to bounce back scoring 2 touchdowns on short drives thanks to a 67 yard kickoff return by Julian Ross and a fumble recovery by Andrew Payne. A Chad Moore interception and 33 yard return led to a Bobcats field goal and Ohio was up 24-13.

UMass battled back, as they would all game, starting with a long kick off return of their own with Marquis Young took 81 yards to the Bobcats 6.
